For this anniversary post, I’ll be paying homage to the submission that started it all – Emilia Clarke nude in the closing scene from Game of Thrones‘ first season finale. Neither high-res caps nor a 1080p clip were available on the internet for that one at the time, which is a big part of what inspired me to make them myself and start this site.
The two scenes below – both from the same season’s pilot, Winter Is Coming – have been requested before, but I’ve been reluctant to post them because good clips already exist on the internet. Unwilling to go back on my mission of not posting stale content, but still wishing to fulfill the requests, I’ve gone ahead and done something a little different here. The clips are both encoded with the H.264 codec, the same one used for Blu-rays and the rest of the clips on this site, but this time around I’ve raised the bitrate from 10mbps to 15mbps. The result is a video that looks virtually indistinguishable, even to the most adept pixel hunter, from the original Blu-ray.
OK, enough gabbing. Here are the Emilia Clarke nude scenes as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones‘ opening episode, both in 1920 x 1080 resolution. And don’t forget to check out the very romantic GIFs.
