Tamzin Merchant Naked – Carnival Row: Original Sins – 4K Stream

It took five whole episodes and the start of the sixth, but we finally got to enjoy Tamzin Merchant naked in Carnival Row again. For those who haven’t been following, I’ve been tracking the nude scenes in the second and final season of Carnival Row since the first two episodes aired two weeks ago. Or I’ve been trying to anyway. This isn’t just Tamzin Merchant’s first nude scene of the season, but it’s the first (and so far only) nude scene of the season as a whole. We’ve got four episodes left until the story ends, so let’s hope we are still to get treated to some more nudity from Cara Delevingne and Karla Crome, the latter of whom has been promoted to a main character this season.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the nude scene in this episode. It begins with Imogen Spurnrose wearing some very exposing lingerie-type outfit while in bed with her eloping partner. While watching it for the first time, I was wondering whether her nipples were technically visible through her top since it did have a very meshy sort of design. I’d initially planned to dig through it after the fact as a sort of cope for the closest to nudity that we were going to get this season, so imagine my surprise when in the very next scene, the top comes off and her boobs are out for her sex scene.

If this is the last Tamzin Merchant nude scene in Carnival Row, I’d obviously rather it wasn’t, but I’m nonetheless pleased with it. I don’t know if she’s put on a teeny bit of weight (in the best way possible) since last season or what, but I swear her tits looks significantly bigger in this episode than they did in either of her nude scenes from the first season. Tamzin Merchant Naked – Carnival Row – 4K Stream

The two scenes featuring Tamzin Merchant naked bring us to the end of our journey of covering all of the nudity in the first season of Carnival Row and getting us ready for the second and final season. This second season will begin to air on February 17, 2023, so only a week and a half from time of me writing this. The release schedule is going to be a bit different. As I’ve said in each of the other posts for the series, Season 1 released all in one go, which meant that the show staggering Cara Delevingne’s two nude scenes to the third and fourth episodes did nothing to dampen any spotlight monopolization that may – and definitely did – occur.

Mind you, the Tamzin Merchant nude scenes – which appear in the penultimate and final episodes of the first season – fared a bit better. They don’t get nearly as much mention as Cara’s, but they certainly get a lot more press than Orlandlo Bloom ploughing his landlady played by Maeve Dermody or the fantastical fae brothel scene featuring Karla Crome. All that said, Season 2 is unlikely to suffer from the same problem because it has now been confirmed that the new episodes of Carnival Row will release two at a time over a five week period between February 17 and March 17. Well, 29 days, technically, but you know what I mean.

The question on everyone’s lips is obviously whether we will see Tamzin Merchant nude again in the new season, and since this will be the end of the show, for the last time as Imogen Spurnrose. I will obviously be monitoring the situation and reporting on it as it goes in the same way that I did for House of the Dragon and (less fruitfully) for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Tamzin is certainly no stranger to nudity, but at the same time, she doesn’t exactly have that Eva Green or post-Twilight Kristen Stewart energy of being naked in absolutely everything she’s in.

We first saw Tamzin Merchant topless in The Tudors, which I suppose wasn’t unusual for that show. My most evergreen celebrity crush Natalie Dormer notably also had her nude debut in that show. The only other time we’ve gotten to enjoy Tamzin Merchant naked was in the French film The Dancer / La Danseuse. We could have seen her naked a whole lot more over the past decade and a bit since Tamzin Merchant was the original actress to play Daenerys Targaryen. Seriously, they filmed a whole pilot and everything, including the infamous wedding scenes with Khal Drogo. The original pilot was almost completely scrapped for being crap, and part of the rework involved significant recasting, one expression of which was replacing Tamzin with Emilia Clarke. I can’t tell you how often I hope to wake up and find out that the original Game of Thrones pilot has leaked.

I also feel like we could have gotten a Tamzin Merchant sex scene or 20 in her debut-ish role as Margo Durrell in BBC’s 2005 adaptation of My Family and Other Animals, given the character’s proclivities. In spite of its image, the network is no stranger to that kind of thing, as we have seen time and time again, and yet, no luck. Nor was there when ITV adapted the same books as The Durrells with Daisy Waterstone as Margo Durrell. The good news there is that Daisy had a certain very early role that will now scratch that itch for us forever. Bless independent short films.

For all the speculation we’ve been through, I do believe there actually is a good chance that we’ll be blessed with Tamzin Merchant’s tits again in Season 2 of Carnival Row. Why do I say this? Well, information has been scant until now, but our English rose did say in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Imogen Spurnrose stops wearing a corset partway through the second season. Eleanor Tomlinson Naked – Colette – Blu ray

I’m sure you all knew that covering Eleanor Tomlinson naked was what the earlier post with Keira Knightley was building up to. The three straight male fans of Poldark had certainly been waiting to see Demelza Poldark nude throughout that show’s run, but unlike the rest of the BBC’s catalog and all of its relentless nudity, no such nude scenes materialized in Poldark. But all of this brings us to Colette, the 2018 film that proudly screened Eleanor Tomlinson nude for the first time. And for the only time. Or was it?

My knowledge of celeb nudity may be encyclopedic to an extent that is equal parts impressive and cringe-inducing, but I always do my research before any statements go live, and so the same was done to confirm that Colette does indeed feature the only Eleanor Tomlinson nude scene in existence. There appears to be a lot of confusion regarding this scene being of stand-up comedian Taylor Tomlinson nude. There are also references to Taylor Tomlinson’s work that refer to Eleanor and vice versa. I get that they share a surname, but… like… Anyway, in my research, I have concluded with certainty that at time of writing, this is well and truly the only footage of Eleanor Tomlinson topless in existence.

And now some more bad news regarding the Eleanor Tomlinson nude scenes in Colette. If you haven’t seen the film, you may think it’s just one quick one. If you have seen the film, you may think there are tons of them. If we’re talking about visible nudity, tragically, there is indeed only one. Of the multiple sex scenes between her and Keira Knightley and Dominic West, even if you scrub through frame by frame, you will get no slips – neither intended nor unintended as (we got in Ordinary Lies). Karla Crome Naked – Carnival Row – 4K Stream

There’s a lot to be said for actresses’ nudity being overshadowed by bigger stars in the same features, and the scene with Karla Crome naked in Carnival Row is no exception. On the contrary, it’s a perfect example. For those who aren’t aware, Carnival Row hosted the second of only two times that the magnetic Cara Delevingne has appeared naked on screen and, incidentally, the only time that the view was good, taking out her brief, dark nude debut in Tulip Fever.

To Amazon’s credit, they did wait until the third episode to air the first of Cara’s nude scenes in the show, whereas Karla Crome’s nudity was in the pilot episode, but it didn’t seem to steal the show in the way that intuition would presume due to Prime Video following the binge-friendly release schedule of putting every single episode of the season out on the same day – in this case, August 30, 2019. Maeve Dermody’s nude scene was in the same episode and was even the very first nude scene of the entire show, but it was met with the same fate. Even Tamzin Merchant’s pair of nude scenes toward the end of the season slipped under many fappers’ radars, but more on all of that down the line.

We see Karla Crome nude in Carnival Row when her character Tourmaline Larou is having sex with a client in the brother where she works. I appreciate this sounds like blatant sexposition à la Game of Thrones, but the scene was actually critical to the story in its entirety (no further spoilers, though). I was initially struggling over whether to put this scene down as a nude debut for the British actress based on a partial flash of ass preceding it in the infamous Hit & Miss with Chloë Sevigny, but after a check with The Topless Review’s British Nudity Database, I found that she’d flashed a tit once before on BBC’s Murder, which I understand is a spin-off of The Teletubbies. Or something. Anyway, there’s more content on the way in preparation for the release of Season 2, but for now, enjoy the gallery of everything we have from Karla Crome nude in Carnival Row thus far.

Keira Knightley Naked – Colette – Blu ray

Getting to enjoy Keira Knightley naked in Colette was a pleasant bonus. I couldn’t call it a surprise. I mean, the movie was famous for having a very brief but rather satisfying Keira Knightley nude scene, but it was famous for something else too. Now, it’s not often that a nude scene from a more famous star gets overshadowed by one from a less well-known actress in the same movie (although the inverse is an infamously frequent tragedy), but this film is an exception to that. Colette hosted not only the nude debut of Eleanor Tomlinson, but also what remains her only nude scene to date.

The Eleanor Tomlinson nude scene will get my full attention very soon. Or, realistically, if you’re not reading this post just very shortly after it’s been posted, it’s probably already been attended to. Look out for clickable links to enjoy that. Here, though, we will be focusing specifically on the footage we got of Keira Knightley topless. Just a quick note before we begin: Colette is by no means the only time we’ve seen Keira Knightley nude on screen, but it is the last as I write and will likely remain so. The Pirates of the Caribbean actress is presumed to have done one more nude scene after this one – namely 2019’s The Aftermath.

The apparent Keira Knightley nude scene in The Aftermath has been confirmed by the actress herself to have been the work of a body double. Her reasoning was given as not wanting to show her body after having children. I suspect that it was more to do with the sexual nature of the nudity in The Aftermath on the basis of the English actress’ first daughter being born in 2015, whereas filming for Colette began in 2017. Or perhaps it was a pregnancy thing with reference to her second child.

Further supporting this theory is the fact that the Keira Knightley lesbian sex scenes in Colette actually don’t show any nudity from her. Believe me; I scrubbed through them frame by frame to make sure. So when do we see Keira Knightley naked in the movie then? Her character, the eponymous Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, is on stage and gets her dress ripped open as part of the play (or accidentally; who knows?), exposing one of her tits as she stands frozen, cheesing at the audience while they all get an eyeful. Where the hell do all of these lewd stage shows happen? Why do I never see this in real life? Truly, life is cruel, but we can make it just a little less cruel by enjoying the lovingly color corrected gallery of Keira Knightley nude in Colette below.
