Aubrey Plaza Naked – The Little Hours – Blu ray

Aubrey Plaza naked in The Little Hours was not something most viewers expected from the film. All the nude scenes of the movie are nestled right toward the end, so even if you go into it expecting them because the skeezy guy at work or the anonymous internet poster that was almost certainly a troll told you they’re there, you either didn’t believe them in the first place or you forgot that they were supposed to happen by the time they actually did. And boy oh boy was it a breath of fresh air when all the nudity finally unfolded.

For those who don’t know about the movie, The Little Hours is quite a gem for so many reasons. First of all, it was one of a small number of attempts to bring back the nunsploitation genre, doing so the same year as Novitiate, which everyone adores for hosting its own nude debut, that of Margaret Qualley. We could even argue that the two releases were successful, owing to this year’s release of Benedetta, which is directed by Paul Verhoeven, basically telling us everything we need to know about exactly how much and exactly how (un)necessary the nudity is in that one. The dialogue is almost completely improvised, which makes for a delightful, immersive watch. It also proves there should be more nudity in improv.

The first time we see Aubrey Plaza nude in the movie is from behind, with her bare, delicious ass mooning the camera shamelessly. The scenes do technically cut, but there’s incredibly solid continuity between them leading into the face reveal, so it likely genuinely is the Parks and Recreation actress herself on full display. There’s a fair bit of bush in view as she turns around and her open robe sways. It’s not fully clear at the moment whether these were her genuine pubes or a merkin, but she had said that she’d made efforts to appear natural regarding not shaving legs and such, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that we genuinely got a dewigged full frontal from her, as is, of course, suitable for every self-respecting nunsploitation film.

There are then quite a few closeups of Aubrey Plaza topless as she performs some sort of witch’s ritual over a tied up Dave Franco, whom I can only imagine to this day has wet dreams to the time he spent filming this scene on a weekly basis. Make no mistake. As I write, this is the only proper topless scene of the actress in existence. Was there an ambiguous nip slip in Ned Rifle? Yes, there was. Key focus on “ambiguous.” Quite unsatisfying on the whole. There was also a bottomless scene in last year’s Black Bear, but the bush she’s rocking in that is either the most unnaturally trimmed pubic hair in existence or, may God have mercy on our souls, a merkin. Probably the latter.

Speaking of below par, The Little Hours does contain a number of Aubrey Plaza sex scenes, but as with sex scenes she’d done in other movies, there is no nudity visible during them. This is admittedly a bit curious considering she does get naked in other parts of the movie, but we shouldn’t be greedy. I, for one, thank director Jeff Baena for showcasing his wife nude for the world to see. No, I didn’t make it up. They actually are married.

Radha Mitchell Naked – Feast of Love – Blu ray

Anyone who’s watched Feast of Love knows that the best part of it was seeing Radha Mitchell naked. Wait. Where does that sound familiar? Some of you who have spent or will spend more time on the site will be familiar with the post where we saw Alexa Davalos naked from the same film. There’s actually a striking similarity between the two actresses’ appearances in the movie. Both of them had the only full frontal nude scenes of their careers here. Similarly, both of them had exactly one other nude scene in existence, and both involved an uninspiring, borderline-unfappable glimpse of nip that might as well not even qualify as a nude scene. For the curious, in Radha’s case, I’m referring to 1998’s High Art.

But that’s all right. Once again, my boy Robert Benton bestows us unworthy mortals with a blessing unmatched by his contemporaries. The first time we see Radha Mitchell naked in the film, she’s riding the luckiest dude on the planet in a scene that’s interspersed with shots of Alexa Davalos recording a sex tape (as one does when boredom strikes). We get some sideboob from the side, followed by a closer shot of her glorious titties from a more frontal angle as she tries a bit of reverse cowgirl. These scenes aren’t particularly long, and they are quite dark, but a bit of color correction and the loop function make for good content to beat your meat to.

This isn’t the only time we see Radha Mitchell nude in Feast of Love. Her next nude scene is significantly longer. It starts with her reclining in bed. The shot is zoomed in to cover her face and the top part of her chest. At first, the nudity is only implied, but then the camera zooms out, revealing her perfectly-positioned nipples in all their glory. The professional fappers amongst us could easily start and finish before this scene ends. It’s long enough, and her breasts remain unobscured the entire time. The guy whose head she was stroking gets up at one point, showing us a bit more skin (hers, not his; well, his as well, if that’s what you’re into). A wine glass makes an appearance at one point, because who doesn’t drink wine in bed?

An argument ensues, likely over the impracticalities of drinking wine in bed and the costs of getting wine stains out of mattresses and bedsheets. The guy fucks off out of the way, giving the camera operator an excuse to fill the frame with an angry and topless Radha Mitchell as she continues to argue with him. Again, I’ve already forgotten what the argument was about, but I believe it had something to do with Konrad Adenauer’s social pension policies. Or infidelity. The overlap is extensive. More importantly, the directing focuses so much on Radha Mitchell’s naked body, that my brain rerouted most of the energy it normally gives to my ears to my eyes, and most of my blood to my… nether realms.

Like all good sex scenes, it ends with Radha Mitchell getting out of bed bare-ass naked and escalating the fight to the point that it gets physical. Spoiler alert: she gets slapped. I didn’t realize this until my 17th rewatch of the film, though, since her labia are fully visible during this entire time. In fact, she sports the patrician’s choice in feminine pubic hair: Trimmed bush up top, fully shaved pussy lips below. If you’ve seen Feast of Love before but feel like this wasn’t part of it, you weren’t wrong, but you weren’t right either. If you’ve seen the DVD, a web stream, or a TV stream, you might have thought that it was all bush, but in reality, you were bamboozled by the combination of low resolution and low lighting. The blu ray with a healthy level of color correction reveals that her labia, and I mean both outer and inner labia, were on display all along, merely in shadow. Alexa Davalos Naked – Feast of Love – Blu ray

Anyone who’s watched Feast of Love knows that the best part of it was seeing Alexa Davalos naked. Yes, the film was chock full of nude scenes. Yes, Radha Mitchell had a delicious full frontal as well (labia visible!!!). But it was Alexa’s nude scene that really stole the show. Why? Because it was her first nude scene and, sadly, her last. The connoisseurs among you will likely bring up another nude scene by the petite actress, namely the one from the whimsically named And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself. Well, more fool you. All that time spent squinting to spot that lone hidden nipple in the dark could be better spent fapping to something more accessible, and it’ll probably ruin your eyes more too. Fun fact: The aforementioned film was an HBO production, so there was really no excuse.

As you can see in the supercut above, there’s quite the collection of nude scenes to pick from. Quite the feast, one might say. The first time we see Alexa Davalos naked is quite early in the film. She’s lying in bed, tits up, presumably after a sex session or deep philosophical conversation (or both). She gets out of bed, giving us a nice sideboob view, walks to a door, and opens it. On the other side of the door is a seedy-looking geezer who enjoys the view in the 17 picoseconds before she slams the door. After slamming said door, Alexa turns around, giving us a nice shot of her trimmed pubic region. Life is good. She then walks over to the bed to get dressed, but the camera operator very kindly keeps her boobs in view while she does so.

The second time we see Alexa Davalos nude is when she decides that exhibitionism and public sex – or as the cool kids call it, dogging – is the way forward. She takes her top off in the middle of a football field, titties out on full display of course, and mounts a fellow for sex in the middle of the aforementioned field. This is the middle of the night, so there is no audience to this debauchery. None on site, anyway. Everyone who’s seen the film makes up for it. The sex scene is filmed from some distance, so even though nothing is obscured, we pretty much just get three pixels of sideboob. I’m not complaining, of course. That’s still two pixels more than is necessary to fap to, so it’s not without reason.

It’s important to remember that this is a bit of an artsy film, which means that even though we do get Alexa Davalos topless on screen (and a lot), the gratuitous nudity has to be tempered by being presented in an artistic way. Or to put it in layman’s terms, the nude scenes are all very dark. I don’t mean they were morbid or depressing. I mean that they play out like the film studio forgot to pay their electric bill. The good news is that a spot of careful color correction brings out more detail than you’d think on the blu ray. For instance, during the full frontal nude scene, without enhancement, Alexa’s crotch region kinda just looks like it’s in shadow. Boost it enough, and suddenly you can see individual pubes. Pubes! For the record, this is done without the use of AI upscaling. The images and video on this page were improved with nothing more than some good old-fashioned color correction.

Feast of Love did come out in 2007, and the Pancho Villa movie with the wanky name came out in 2003, so although it pains me to say this, we are unlikely to get another nude scene out of dear Alexa. I praise the heavens above on a daily basis, though, that we were given this one gift before her nips retired from showbusiness. I’m also thankful to director Robert Benton for sneaking so much fappable material into this chick flick, similarly getting two (TWO!) full frontal nude scenes out of Nicole Kidman, and also writing a couple of Superman films in the 70s. I haven’t seen them, so no comment on how much hairy bush is on display in those. Family movies or not, Our Rob clearly knows how to make the most of limited screentime.
