NEWS: New Nude Scenes in Film and Television in 2025

Hollywood went through a dark time over the past few years of scaling back nude scenes, and significantly. There’s no need to rehash painful moments, so let’s focus on the good instead. The nudity drought is over. Probably.

This post will serve as a living document of sorts to chronicle nude scenes that are new to 2025. It will be updated as and when, so check back regularly. New videos will be added to the bottom, just above the upcoming/rumors section, except for those for an already listed feature, which will be added to that section along with new information.

If you have any information to add, share it in the comments, and I’ll investigate.

Imogen Poots in All of You

Imogen Poots surprised us all in the Apple TV+ movie, All of You. We were all so geared up for her nudity in the upcoming The Chronology of Water (courtesy of director Kristen Stewart) that when this one got a quiet release on September 26, it was quite the blindside. Though considering this film was first shown at the 49th annual Toronto International Film Festival a year prior, maybe it’s a marketing problem.

Aubrey Plaza and Margaret Qualley in Honey Don’t!

I remember when Aubrey Plaza used to be a never-nude. I suppose I also remember the first 5 minute of her career wherein Margaret Qualley used to be a never-nude. Both actresses flip that pancake in their lesbian sex scenes in Honey, Don’t! which premiered at Cannes this year. This wasn’t the only nudity in that film either.

Nicole Kidman in Babygirl

BDSM-themed erotic thriller starring an often-naked Nicole Kidman? Sure, why not. For the record, this film premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on August 30, 2024 before getting a wide release in the United States, Canada, Iceland(!?), and Peru(!?!?) across Christmas and Boxing day in 2024, but due to how late in the year that was and the fact that it was indeed only 2025 for the rest of the world, I’m counting this in the list.

Diane Kruger in The Shrouds

Yeah, OK, The Shrouds was a bit of a trip, but the sheer volume of full frontal nudity we got from Diane Kruger is all any fapper needs to focus on in deciding whether to watch it or not. The German actress plays two characters, one of which is literally always completely naked when she’s on screen. This one’s another Cannes premiere from last year that got its wide release in 2025.

Emma Mackey in Hot Milk

Hot Milk is some solid coomer kino. It doesn’t even have that much nudity, but for refined gentlemen that appreciate the female form, Emma Mackey is quite the spectacle (and she’s not the only one, but more on that later! Stay tuned!).

Aimee Lou Wood in The White Lotus

Lovely Aimee Lou Wood hadn’t done a nude scene since the magical pilot of Sex Education, but that stream was mercifully broken with the third season of The White Lotus. She gets her dress pulled down by Walton Goggins, after which he proceeds to suck on her left nipple, because why wouldn’t you, right?

Paulina Gaitan in The Dead Girls

Paulina Gaitan shows no sign of slowing down in her insistence on being nude in absolutely everything, and Netflix is finally getting the hint that no one’s complaining. The Dead Girls, known in its home country of Mexico as Las Muertas, is a six-part miniseries that looks like the clip above. Enough said.

A romantic comedy in the classic “chick flick” style in 2025 in which the lead has multiple nude scenes? I couldn’t even have dreamed of such a dramatic exit from the Hollywood nudity drought. Mad respect to Molly Gordon, who co-wrote the story, and Sophie Brooks for Oh, Hi!

Aimee Lou Wood Naked – Sex Education – 4K Blu ray

As I write, the only time we’ve seen Aimee Lou Wood naked is in Netflix’s Sex Education all the way back in 2019. That’s a tragedy, but the good news it that it’s all about to change. The better news is that as you’re reading this, it almost certainly already has. If you’re here early, then sincerest apologies, but for everyone for whom February 16, 2025 has already passed, Season 3 of The White Lotus is already out, and you’re probably already taking in your dose of delicious HBO nudity.

Admittedly, I’m writing based on information I haven’t confirmed myself, but pretty much everyone has accepted that we’ll be getting tons of Aimee Lou Wood nudity in the new season of The White Lotus. PinkNews report “teasing” of a potentially sapphic relationship between Aimee and Charlotte Le Bon’s characters, Chelsea and Chloe. Whether that means we’ll get something quite as graphic and gratuitous as Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet’s lesbian sex scene in Ammonite isn’t clear yet, but hey, you reading in the future may already have rubbed a few out to it.

The presence of plenty of Aimee Lou Wood nude scenes is also heavily implied by a frustratingly paywalled article by The Times. While most of it is inaccessible to us wretched poors, the preview notes that the reporter saw the first 6 episodes, in which she noted “plentiful nudity”. Elsewhere across forums throughout the internet, the rumor mills are spinning. Some are saying that almost all of the nudity is from male actors. Others are saying that Aimee Lou Wood only has a nude scene in the second episode of the season, titled “Special Treatments”. Others still are saying that Aimee’s nude scenes are long and gratuitous. So much speculation, so little hard evidence… for now.

Setting speculation aside, let’s return to the infamous Aimee Lou Wood sex scene from Sex Education. For those who haven’t seen the show, the scene in question was very literally the first scene of the first episode of the first season. I would say that I’m shocked that Netflix, who have a spotty but ultimately rather cold association with nude scenes, would lead out with something like this, but then when you factor in just how little nudity there is in the rest of the show, it comes back around to make sense again. Unlike HBO, which is producing The White Lotus, there isn’t really for for gratuitous nudity with Netflix. Arguably HBO has lost its touch there as well, but that’s a different story and one that will hopefully reverse course.

Other than this one scene of Aimee Lou Wood topless while she’s riding a very bored guy who ends up faking his orgasm, there is another scene later in the series in which she’s rolling around on her back and front in bed and masturbating, but there’s no nudity there. There is, indeed, no further nudity from Aimee in the entire rest of the series, but the one scene we got has definitely ended up an icon of on-screen titties. Hailee Steinfeld Naked – Wrong Direction – HD Stream

I always thought that if we ever got to see Hailee Steinfeld naked, it would be somehow linked to her acting career. Or maybe a leak, but we don’t talk about those lest the lawyers start licking their lips. I mean, I never expected that the Marvel Cinematic Universe would grow balls and give us a Kate Bishop nude scene, but Hailee’s got enough roles that she could easily end up in the right production for it. That said, Kathryn Hahn’s ass shot in Agatha All Along has made me pause for thought as to whether we might get some naked archery down the line after all.

Back in the present, though, where we did see Hailee Steinfeld nude – and all the way back in 2020, at that – was in her music video for Wrong Direction. How this flew under everyone’s radar, I don’t know, and it’s to the point where the video is literally still up on YouTube. Seriously, check it out. The nipslip is at 2:41. Ain’t a single comment pointing it out either. Anyway, there’s all two frames of Hailee Steinfeld’s left nipple while sloshing around in a bathtub, dripping wet. In the video itself, it’s not entirely clear whether you’re seeing nip or just the water line, but after a bit of color correction, I think we can all agree that that really is her boob in all its glory. (And by “all”, I mean the top edge of her nipple and areola.)

Ella Purnell Naked – Sweetbitter – 4K Stream

We’ve only been blessed with Ella Purnell naked once, and it was back in the Starz production Sweetbitter. Starz is, of course, known for bringing us such wellsprings of nudity as Spartacus, Outlander, and Da Vinci’s Demons. Now, before everyone gets too excited, Sweetbitter is from after this fabled era, and there are significantly fewer nude scenes in it than in any of the other shows I mentioned.

What Sweetbitter does give us, however, is something that we almost certainly won’t get to see in Fallout when it hits Amazon Prime Video in a few days. Yes, Ella Purnell will be playing the lead in the ‘Zon’s adaptation of Fallout, named Lucy MacLean. That’s the character, not the show. Now, just to be clear, it has been whispered through the grapevine that Fallout has been rated for nudity, but we got that kind of talk with The Rings of Power – another Amazon production, by the way – and we know exactly how that turned out.

But whether we will get to enjoy Ella Purnell nude in Fallout isn’t a matter of life and death since we’ve already got nudity from her in Sweetbitter. Yeah, fine, it’s not the same level of gratuitous nudity as we got in Spartacus (God, I miss that show every day), but for the cynics among us who aren’t holding their breaths for tons of tits and ass in Fallout, it is a nice fallback. And really, we got just about every angle of her minus the full frontal. Even the ass men got a taste.

One thing I will seethe about is that most of Ella Purnell’s sex scenes in Sweetbitter involved her wearing a bra. Like, seriously? Who does that? We do get a lot of great reaction shots from her. These include one scene where she’s getting her pussy eaten out while balancing plates and another wherein she’s masturbating in bed so that coomers can self-insert or something. There’s also a really goofy sex scene in which she fakes an orgasm. All of these would obviously be infinitely better if she wasn’t wearing that damned bra, but I guess we take what we’re given.

The scene in Sweetbitter in which we see Ella Purnell topless takes place in some sort of dingy spa or sauna or steamy sex dungeon which her character, Tess, visits with her colleague, Simone, played by the ethereal Caitlin FitzGerald. Tess pulls her towel off so that her breasts can enjoy the hot air. Sadly, Caitlin’s Simone does not follow suit for her own boobs, but we’ve still got Masters of Sex to fap to her in, so it’s all good. I really do hope I’ll get to eat my cynicism in a day or two and that Fallout will be bursting at the seams with nudity from Lucy MacLean, but failing that, I’m comfortable in the knowledge that I’ll always have this gallery of Ella Purnell nude.

Jodie Comer Naked – The End We Start From – 4K Stream

We finally got a proper scene of Jodie Comer naked. Praise the heavens. The End We Start From released today, and the scene that we got cam footage of back whenever that was has delivered, and gloriously – this time in stunning 4K UltraHD. Definitely beats a camrip. The funny thing is that the movie does meander through a few nude scenes that I would describe as “not entirely arousing”. I don’t mind a non-sexual nude scene. In fact, I prefer them. The pregnancy ones, though, don’t exactly get my motor going. Now, that said, if any of you fellers have a pregnant fetish, you’re going to absolutely love this.

The first couple of times we see Jodie Comer nude in this BBC Film production, she’s wearing a giant prosthetic pregnant belly, but she is topless. Her nips look quite majestic in these shots, but a part of my does wonder whether she’s also wearing prosthetic nipples to complete the pregnant look. Or maybe she just rubbed ice on them like that scene in Showgirls to get them as hard as possible. Saying that, Jodie Comer should totally play Nomi Malone if they ever do a remake of that movie, preferably directed by Paul Verhoeven himself. Say what you want about the man, but Benedetta proved to us that he’s still got it.

Refocusing again, the Jodie Comer nude scene that we were all waiting for comes in during the final third of the movie, wherein the unnamed character – simply known as Woman and Mother (unrelated to the Jennifer Lawrence character) – has a psychotic break or something while bobbing around in the sea. The view of her tits in this is fantastic. Seriously, they said in My Mad Fat Diary that Jodie Comer’s Chloe has perfect boobs, and that was as little a lie then as it is now. Yeah, this scene is short and Jodie’s breasts are obscured by the water more often than they’re not, but with the power of freeze-frame, we can make the most of it. Enjoy the gallery below.
