Maeve Dermody Naked – Carnival Row – 4K Stream

The scene in which we saw Maeve Dermody naked in Carnival Row is a bit of a stealth nude scene. We discussed the irony of this briefly in the previous post for the series, the one for Karla Crome, but to reiterate now that we’re on the scene itself, the part where we see Maeve Dermody nude in Carnival Row is literally the very first nude scene in the entire series. A blessed position to hold, but that didn’t stop it from getting overshadowed by the pair of nude scenes we got from Cara Delevingne later in the season.

That said, connoisseurs of celebrity nudity aren’t known for missing a trick, so in anticipation of Season 2 of Carnival Row, which is due to release on February 17, 2023 – only about a fortnight from now, as I write – I’m sweeping up with the nude scenes that I didn’t address when I covered Cara as Vignette Stonemoss back in November. We did Karla’s nude scene a few days ago, and we’ve got the Tamzin Merchant nude scenes to close the series off. Then when the second and final season rolls out, we can start afresh and hopefully with continuing nude scenes from the cast.

As for the first season, we get treated to the Maeve Dermody nude scene about half an hour into the pilot episode. The Australian actress plays Portia Fyfe, the landlady to Orlando Bloom’s Minecraft Ryprostate. As in every landlady-tenant relationship, they are also having sex on the side. Maybe this is why Philo’s rent was attainable, though how he still couldn’t afford better digs on a military officer’s pension and a police inspector’s salary, I’m not entirely sure. Maybe he was paying Maeve for the pleasure. Who knows? I would. The good news in all of that is we get to enjoy seeing Maeve Dermody nude in a great, albeit perhaps too clothed, sex scene, the gallery of which is below.

Karla Crome Naked – Carnival Row – 4K Stream

There’s a lot to be said for actresses’ nudity being overshadowed by bigger stars in the same features, and the scene with Karla Crome naked in Carnival Row is no exception. On the contrary, it’s a perfect example. For those who aren’t aware, Carnival Row hosted the second of only two times that the magnetic Cara Delevingne has appeared naked on screen and, incidentally, the only time that the view was good, taking out her brief, dark nude debut in Tulip Fever.

To Amazon’s credit, they did wait until the third episode to air the first of Cara’s nude scenes in the show, whereas Karla Crome’s nudity was in the pilot episode, but it didn’t seem to steal the show in the way that intuition would presume due to Prime Video following the binge-friendly release schedule of putting every single episode of the season out on the same day – in this case, August 30, 2019. Maeve Dermody’s nude scene was in the same episode and was even the very first nude scene of the entire show, but it was met with the same fate. Even Tamzin Merchant’s pair of nude scenes toward the end of the season slipped under many fappers’ radars, but more on all of that down the line.

We see Karla Crome nude in Carnival Row when her character Tourmaline Larou is having sex with a client in the brother where she works. I appreciate this sounds like blatant sexposition à la Game of Thrones, but the scene was actually critical to the story in its entirety (no further spoilers, though). I was initially struggling over whether to put this scene down as a nude debut for the British actress based on a partial flash of ass preceding it in the infamous Hit & Miss with Chloë Sevigny, but after a check with The Topless Review’s British Nudity Database, I found that she’d flashed a tit once before on BBC’s Murder, which I understand is a spin-off of The Teletubbies. Or something. Anyway, there’s more content on the way in preparation for the release of Season 2, but for now, enjoy the gallery of everything we have from Karla Crome nude in Carnival Row thus far.

Emma Corrin Naked – Lady Chatterley’s Lover – 4K Stream

I certainly was expecting to see Emma Corrin naked when I watched Lady Chatterley’s Lover. How could I not be? People have been talking about gawking at Emma Corrin nude for the first time in her career ever since Netflix’s adaptation of the 1928 cuck classic by this perfectly normal and sane-looking gentleman came out last month.

What I definitely did not expect was the earth-shattering quantity of Emma Corrin nude scenes that we ended up getting. I genuinely thought there would just be one nude scene from Emma and then one other, which would be the infamous Jack O’Connell nude scene that ended up getting bizarrely mixed reception. That said, Jack O’Connell naked on screen is as reliably consistent as the tides, so I’m not really sure what all of the furore was about from either camp. Anyway, I thought that very important part of the movie needed to be addressed, and now it is, so I’m done linking gay-themed sites. Or am I?

Back to the 6 million Emma Corrin nude scenes in Lady Chatterley’s Lover, the situation is so deliciously absurd, that the Daily Mail even erroneously reported that the Netflix film was going to be X-rated. I guess I can’t blame them – after all, that article is from before the film’s release – but it did make me think about Netflix’s completely chaotic relationship with nudity. The orthodoxy was always that Netflix is lean on nude scenes, and when they appear every now and then, they are not especially gratuitous. It’s safe to say that Lady Chatterley’s Lover bucked that trend in a dramatic way, although there is also something to be said for the fact that as networks like HBO and Starz and Hollywood as a whole have been shying away from nude scenes since #MeToo gained traction, Netflix has been moving in the opposite direction with on-screen nudity.

So there I was, going into the movie excited to see Emma Corrin topless (once), and instead, I get a whole lot of graphic and gratuitous full frontal nudity. It is worth noting – and this is something that I’ve noticed time and time again with such delicious offerings – that Lady Chatterley’s Lover gets the fabled F-Rated tag for its director, Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre. And not only that, but said female director is French, which I surely needn’t explain further. And what’s even more, Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre has herself done nude scenes, such as in 2011’s Demain?, which coincidentally also revolves around the First World War. Suffice it to say, all of the ingredients for gratuitous shots of naked actresses were in place.

So go ahead and enjoy Emma Corrin sex scenes until your battered dong just can’t take any more. You can almost forget that there’s a movie between all of the nudity, but who’s complaining? Certainly not Emma. In interviews, she has described her nude debut as “so freeing” and “the most exhilarating experience of [her] life”… and yet, that wince she does in The Hook’s video interview when they begin talking about her nude scenes combined with her body language throughout that bit – the vagus nerve massaging, the tightly crossed arms – tells a slightly different story. But wait. The nudity wasn’t that embarassing, was it? She wasn’t that exposed, was she? Perhaps, but then there’s…

…the Emma Corrin pussy flash. I don’t know whether this was intentional or accidental in the same way that the three-frame shot of her nipple piercing is toward the end of the movie, but if it is “””””unintentional”””””, I can tell you with certainty that the editor noticed it and did nothing about it. The pierced nipples appear under a flurry of blanket in the middle of a shot where the focus is on Lady Chatterley’s face. The bush-and-labia shot – and yes, inner labia are included just like in one of the greatest nude scenes ever by the amazing Lucy Aarden – was right at the end of a scene with the camera’s focus on nothing else, even if it did only last for three frames. Rosa Salazar Naked – Brand New Cherry Flavor – 4K Stream

I really enjoyed seeing Rosa Salazar naked in Brand New Cherry Flavor. You sort of get the same vibe that you do when you’re at a fancy dinner and get served the finest of wines, but you can’t quite have as much as you want. No, you get a glass of wine in the beginning to introduce you to the event, and then two more glasses with your main course. That’s sort of what we get with the Rosa Salazar nude scenes in Brand New Cherry Flavor.

We see Rosa Salazar nude for the first time in the show in the first episode. She’s sitting naked in a bathtub, as one does, and her perky tits are out in full display. This nude scene is not especially long, but it sets the stage nicely enough. Netflix borrows a bit from the HBO approach of frontloading the nudity in the first episode to get viewers hooked. I say “borrowed” because it’s not quite the same. In HBO’s Rome, for instance, there is a clear deluge of nudity in the pilot episode and a fast and steady decline from that very point. Netflix mimic this approach insofar as they’ve got this one short nude scene in the first episode and then drought for the next two episodes, but that’s about where the similarities end.

We see Rosa Salazar nude again in the fourth episode. In fact, we see Rosa Salazar naked for a whole long time in this episode. To be specific, the nudity from the Alita: Battle Angel actress spans eight-and-a-half minutes. I’m sure you have correctly assumed that that’s not eight-and-a-half minutes of non-stop nudity from our favorite cyborg, but that is the stretch of scenes through which her nude scenes play out. The reason that’s interesting is because it is unusual for a series to tease nudity in episode one, go radio silent for the next two, and then drop an absolute onslaught of gratuitous nudity in episode four. And then incidentally have no more nudity for the remaining four episodes of the limited series. Yes, there will be no season two of Brand New Cherry Flavor.

If you’re itching to see more Rosa Salazar sexy topless scenes, though, I wouldn’t worry. The Canadian beauty has a track record for on-screen nudity. We’ve seen Rosa Salazar naked twice before Brand New Cherry Flavor. Most people who are aware of the almost equally big-eyed star behind Alita know of her brief sex scene in the Sandra Bullock Netflix film Bird Box. What less people know about is her equally brief but significantly more graphic nude scenes in Night Owls.

But in spite of all of that, as of 2021, the best place to see Rosa Salazar’s hot body is in Brand New Cherry Flavor. With roughly two minutes of continuous nudity spread across about ten minutes of scenes, we have a clear winner in the nudity department, and even though the limited series is over, Rosa is now past round two of doing nudity for Netflix. I’m sure I speak for all of use when I say we are ready for round three. I’m not going to go into technical details, but this was a bit of a ballache to color correct, but I did what I could. Cara Delevingne Naked – Carnival Row – 4K Stream

I’m very excited to be covering Cara Delevingne naked as Vignette Stonemoss in Carnival Row today for a multitude of reasons. The first reason is that the West London actress is the second winner of a YOU CHOOSE competition on the official Faptuary Twitter, beating out Tamzin Merchant for her nude scenes from the same show. The second reason I’m excited is because I only watched the debut season of Carnival Row for the first time recently, and I was quite blown away by how good the show actually is. The nudity is nowhere near Game of Thrones or Spartacus levels, but the everything-else more than makes up for that… and there is still quite a bit of notable nudity, so it’s not even a huge sacrifice.

And that brings me to the reason I decided to watch Carnival Row the other week in the first place, which is that the release date for the second and final season was recently unveiled by Amazon Prime Video as February 17, 2023. There appears to be some controversy over whether Carnival Row Season 2 will have 8 or 10 episodes, but what I’d really like to know is whether it will have 8 or 10 nude scenes. We’re all aware that film and television has been following an unfortunate trajectory in the past few years, but whether Carnival Row’s new season will fall victim to that remains unclear, though be sure that you’ll hear (and hopefully see) the answer right here on the Faptuary as soon as February 17 rolls around.

The funny thing is that we did get a sort of Cara Delevingne nude tease in an article from last year, wherein the esteemed scholars at the Daily Mail (>inb4 “Daily Fail”) discussed racy pictures from the set of Carnival Row Season 2 from the actress’ Instagram profile. What is unclear is how much of the nudity was for social media (you don’t get 42.7 million followers accidentally) or how much was just so that the wing prosthetics could be applied. I like to believe that Vignette Stonemoss spends the whole season with her tits bouncing around freely because she adopts some sort of bizarre Faerie nudism. A man can dream.

A lot of people don’t realize this, but we actually see Cara Delevingne topless in two separate scenes in the first season of Carnival Row. The scene that’s been all over the internet since the show came out is from the third episode, Kingdoms of the Moon, directed by Anna Foerster of Underworld: Blood Wars fame. This is the nude scene in which Vignette Stonemoss is having sex with Orlando Bloom’s Rycroft Philostrate in Gandalf’s S&M dungeon or whatever. You know the scene, don’t you? Luminescent blue Faerie wings flapping along with Cara’s bare boobs. Wonderful.

But other than the Cara Delevingne sex scene from that episode, the actress actually appears nude once more. In the very next episode, The Joining of Unlike Things, Philo hallucinates Vignette poking her exposed breasts at his face while he’s having his sperm extracted to create a demonic undead mole-rat. Admittedly, the nudity is concealed between thick mist and Philo’s Rohypnol-induced blurry vision, but it is there. I plan to cover co-stars Tamzin Merchant, Maeve Dermody, and Karla Crome before Season 2 comes out (famous last words), but in the meantime, enjoy Cara Delevingne naked as Vignette Stonemoss in the debut season of Carnival Row in the gallery below.
